Search the FAQ for entries containing:

BorderFX stores various files in ~/Library/Application Support/BorderFX/ (where "~" represents your home folder). To open this folder:

  1. In Finder, choose Go to Folder from the Go menu
  2. Enter ~/Library/Application Support/BorderFX
  3. Click Go
  4. Then copy the preset files listed below to the same folder on another computer
  • DimensionPresets.plist - If you have customized the output settings, and added new output sizes, this file will contain all of the output presets, the BorderPresets.plist file references this file, so both files should be copied. If you have not customized the output settings, this file will not exist.
  • BorderPresets.plist - Contains all of the Frame Presets you have created.
  • WatermarkPresets.plist - Contains any Watermark Presets you have created.

Note: The next release of BorderFX, version 1.7, will have the ability to import and export the Presets.
