Thank you so much! Just a minor bug, when I load an image watermark from the 'Add' function, it doesn't do so. Drag and drop works fine.

I've been totally screwed since I loaded the upgrade -- can't figure out how to add text to an image now. It used to be so easy. I've sent several Help emails with no response. Is there a way to get the old version back? ASAP. Thanks.

I am running OSx 10.7.5 on iphoto 9, just uploaded the new iborderfx and now the tab doesn't show in the file>export .
I have reloaded and restarted my computer - to no avail, the iborderfx tab does not show. Any ideas?
As well, when I used the 'border texture' to actually make borders a reproduction of a gold frame jpeg iborder did not export with the border intact. Any ideas to get me going back on this great program?

Anyone else lose the iBorderFx tab in iPhoto file>export with update? I can't use this wonderful program anymore - help? I've been using it to create borders for canvas prints - brilliant plug -in. Help!

Having the same problem as Todd above. Loaded the program and can't get the plug in to show up on the Export screen. I'm running 10.7.5 and iPhoto 11 (version 9.4.3).

Any help on this? I would really like to use this program.

Todd

Did you ever get the plug in issue worked out?

Since I updated my Mac to Mavericks (clean) and installed to the new version of iBorderFX with support my watermarks are not doing what they're told. I position them, set the opacity, save the preset and then they just scatter themselves about the photo, not where I wanted them to be. Same thing happens even if I just go straight to export without saving first. Exported images do not conform to the layout I setup.

Look forward to hearing your thoughts. Thank you.

I'm having the same issue as Todd and Scott. Any joy?

Tash, no joy yet. Wondering if Reinhard is on vacation?

Same problem as Scott and Todd above. Although mine has a pop up window saying that it could not run the plug in. Just tried using it last night. Any news on what the problem is?

I downloaded the latest OS (Mavericks, Version 10.9.1, available free through the App Store) and now I can see iBorder. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the update. I find BorderFX very useful for creating travel photos that are viewed on our TV via AppleTV and Home Sharing. I export jpegs at an appropriate resolution and use the text function to add date, location, caption, etc to the border.

One issue that remains for me is that it is not clear which IPTC fields are supported or what their tag names are. For example, the field labeled "Location" in Aperture is available in BorderFX using the label "SubLocation" but not as "Location". "Date Created" in Aperture is "DateCreated" in BorderFX. For some other IPTC fields I cannot find a workable tag name. Most of these other tags would never be used, but it is unclear which are supported. I tried some guessing from the dense IPTC documentation and gave up. Would you also support user-defined fields?

Please document which IPTC fields are supported and their tag names. Or alternatively, make the drop-down list into a fixed list of supported fields. The +/- implies that one can add any field if the correct tag name is supplied.

Your efforts are much appreciated.

I am up to date on all the software but can't seem to get it to sync with my Apple computer. It as if it is downloaded on my computer but not activated. When I press "Export", it does not show anywhere. I am at a loss. Before upgrading to Yosemite and the new iPhoto it worked...Now Nothing. Reinstalled a new version too.
