Dear Reinhard, thanks for your work on this great plugin!

As a 1st time user I am experiencing the following problem with the edit plugin (latest version of plugin and Aperture, OS 10.6.8): the very first edit worked like expected and the resulting picture was re-imported as stacked JPEG into Aperture. 2nd I tried to put some text; then I wanted to delete a text frame there was a popup (remove yes/no) which didn't work as it didn't disappear when clicking either of the buttons. After trying to leave the edit window of the plugin (cancel button) Aperture crashed.

After Restart the plugin acts completely strange: when I click 'edit with BorderFX' NO plugin window appears at all and a new version (without any changes) of my picture gets imported into Aperture as an unstacked TIFF. So I don't get a chance to do any editing at all! I tried to remove the plugin (including prefs) and install from scratch, but that didn't change anything.

I searched the net for similar problems but couldn't find any hints. Could you point me in the right direction what to try next to get edit functionality back? Is there anything besides a reinstall of the plugin to look at, maybe any Aperture preferences?

Thanks, Fred

Thanks for this great plug-in. It's a must have!
Now, I'm just waiting to add any meta data that I extracted with exiftool as a text to an image.
Thanks, Boris

I have been a user of your great plugin for a long time. Now I thought to check if there is a newer version available and found this one and installed it.
Unfortunately I found out that the plugin lost my previous settings. No problem as I should be able to re-create them. But then I found out that I am no longer able to adjust my png watermark to the lower right corner where I usually keep it.
So I searched for my computer and found BorderFX v1.3 (309) build still hanging around. So I reinstalled it and got my previous settings back and everything is working again and I am able to continue posting the photos to fb.
Is there a fundamental change in the image watermark handling in this new version so that I should re-create the watermark or are you going to expand the adjustment capabilities to similar offsets as v1.3 has or did I just mess up somehow?

I want to use BorderFX to prepare my images in Aperture to import them into a portfolio application on my iPad 3. To optimize the images, I need to crop them from the original aspect ration of 3 X 2 to 4 X 3, and size them to the 2048 X 1536. Is it possible to accomplish both of these actions in one export using BorderFX?

Thanks for all the work you have done on this application. It is really useful and elegantly designed.

Upgraded to latest version and have discovered it crashes Aperture 3 when selecting/changing the style of watermark blends (especially "Difference")

Export to BorderFX
Select a PReset with a watermark (image)
Go to drop down menu and select "Differrence"

Result: Aperture crashes.

This was not an issue before I downloaded 1.6.5

thanks for any resolve.

I recently upgraded Aperture with the last version 3.4 and I have the same problems that Tim, BorderFX has lost the presets and when I re created the presets, Aperture crashes when I select an watermark (image) from my library.
Thanks for your help
