Announcing BorderFX 2.0, and a New Photos Extension

The BorderFX plug-in for Aperture has been completely rebuilt as a standalone application, and will include a Photos Extension. It is still a few weeks away from being released, but I will post some screenshots and a video preview soon.

BorderFX 1.8.3 Released

This update corrects an issue that could cause the Watermarks to render incorrectly on exported images. Fixed a problem that caused BorderFX to not launch on Mac OS X Lion (10.7.5).

Please note that an earlier version of 1.8.3 (404), released a few days ago does not include the fix that allows BorderFX to run on 10.7, you will need to download and install BorderFX 1.8.3 (405).

Mavericks Support

Released new versions of the BorderFX plug-in for both iPhoto and Aperture with support for Mavericks.

Mavericks & iPhoto support

I'm working on a new version of BorderFX with support for Mavericks, and support for the new version of iPhoto. I hope to have this new version ready in a few days.

BorderFX 1.8.0

A new version of Aperture BorderFX has been released, this update includes support to create Collages in the BorderFX Edit plug-in. Other improvements include the ability to rotate text, including text watermarks. I will try to add support to rotate image watermarks in the next minor release.
